Summary of the Royalty Agent Cap Model:
This is an agent-based billing model. The Royalty Fees due from Gross Revenue for each sales associate currently affiliated with the franchisee shall be capped.
Once the individual sales associate reaches their cap amount, there shall be no further royalty to be paid. (exceptions include transactions from Cartus referral, reduced rate transactions).
Defaulting Logic :
One Agent : If the referral is received from one agent then total referral amount will be mapped to agent referral amount.
Multiple agents : If the transaction has more than 1 participating agent and total referral amount is given then commission percentage of participating agents will be used to default Agent’s referral amount.
Example:
If the transaction is on List side and has 2 listing participating agent with 50% commission percentage each then Total referral amount will get split equally and be mapped to agent referral amount.
