Please find the release notes below for the Developer Portal. This work was completed in APIM release 1.191. These changes will be live on 06/25. 

With this release, we have worked on the following: 

New Features: 

Swaggerhub Retirement - This will result in cost savings for software licensing going forward. The content of the swaggerhub is now migrated to Gitlab repo which will now hold publisher specific versions with this change.  Our API publishing CI/CD process will use this repo with this change. 

Swaggerhub - https://specs.api.anywhere.re/home will no longer be available. We will communicate the new GitLab repo access details separately to publishers. No change in API publishing process due to this. 

API key Rotation - Our toolkit solution now fully supports AWS setup ECS/Fargate/EKS/Lambda Extension/AKS/ACS with this change. 

Improve Publisher API Product Setup -  As a part of this initiative, REST API to publish API specification using APIM CICD - We will be providing new API endpoint that can be used by developer CI/CD process to automate swagger deployment end to end. 

Redocly CLI (Lint) Integration - Integrated the Redocly CLI (lint) process into our CI/CD product publishing pipeline. This new addition will enhance the quality of our API validation process by ensuring it adheres to the OpenApi specification standards. 

Product Version Notification - If API is published using product version earlier than the previously published version, an email notification will be sent to the publisher to avoid publisher errors. This will ensure all updates and changes are properly tracked and managed. 

Build Report - We have created a custom build report as part of publishing process in pipeline. This report consolidates all the build information from CI/CD, Apigee, and Portal side, providing a comprehensive view of our build process to publishers for API publishing in the CI/CD publishers and Teams publisher queues. 

JTP Protect - As a part of this initiative,We have enhanced our custom Python script used for JSON Threat Protection. The script now includes functionality to handle circular loops in the OpenApi specification, further strengthening our API security measures.

• Regular Expression Protection soft launch

Summary: Regular Expression protection soft launch will allow publishers to turn on an API in soft launch mode to understand the potential failures by analyzing the logs.

Benefit: Publishers will be able to analyze the potential RegEx issues based on the logs without making consumer calls fail. Fully automated CICD will provide the capability to publishers to turn on or turn off the soft launch by API.
